The Best in Functionality and Capability
The 2021 Silverado 1500 models, like all Chevy trucks, are engineered to provide the most functionality and capability out there. The new Multi-Flex Tailgate does just that with six unique functions that allow for easier cargo bed access, enhanced loading solutions, and a standing workstation.
In another upgrade breakthrough, the Silverado, though a long-time leader in trailering, now features increased conventional trailering capability for the 2.7L Turbo and 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel, its two most efficient engines. They now meet or exceed most conventional trailering needs for light-duty pickup trucks, adding up to 2,500 pounds of trailer weight and towing capacity.
Advanced Trailering Technology
Get the big picture with the new advanced trailering technology on 2021 Silverado pickup trucks. New features include more cameras with multiple views and better angles, audio and visual alerts that take the stress out of hauling and backing up, and enhancements that make loading cargo easier and keeping it safe a breeze.
The Silverado doesn’t back down on technology, offering up to 15 unique camera views—more than any other competitor—to make trailering safer and easier. New for 2021, Chevy has also added Trailer Length Indicator, Jack-Knife Alert, Cargo Bed View Enhancement, Rear Trailer View featuring Guidelines and Trailer-Angle Indicator, and Rear Side View Enhancement.
More Standard and Available Features Than Ever
Confidence is built into every trim of the 2021 Chevy Silverado with new standard and available features. These include upgrades for towing and hauling, like the Custom Convenience Package including EZ Lift power lock and release tailgate, bed LED cargo area lighting, and remote start now standard on the Custom and Custom Trail Boss trims.
New Silverado upgrades also include stress-relieving safety features like the Safety Confidence Package including Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, steering wheel audio controls, and a 4.2-inch driver information center now available on the Work Truck, Custom, and Custom Trail Boss trims.
There are also infotainment upgrades on many trims, like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability now standard on the LTZ and High Country trims and available on the LT, LT Trail Boss and RST models. Style upgrades include 20-inch black wheels with Goodyear Territory MT tires, on the Custom Trail Boss and LT Trail Boss, 20-inch polished wheels on the LTZ, and 22-inch wheels and Adaptive Ride Control available on all High Country models.
